Attorney/mediator Nan M. Joseph is a native of Northern Virginia and has practiced law for more than 40 years. Her principal field of practice over the span of her career has been family law.  She represents individuals in divorce and other family law matters. She also is available for mediation, in which she serves as a neutral party to facilitate negotiations and provide legal information as you and your spouse work out the terms of your divorce.

Nan M. Joseph is certified by the Virginia Supreme Court as a family law mediator. Ms. Joseph is AV Peer Review-Rated* through Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating for legal knowledge, ability and integrity. Ms. Joseph is the principal of Divorce Mediation Plus.

Attorney/mediator Donald S. Caruthers, Jr., another Northern Virginia native, has practiced law for 45 years, and is the founder of Divorce Mediation Plus. Dissatisfied with the way family law attorneys and the legal profession often treated divorcing couples, in 1992, Mr. Caruthers began to explore and learn the benefits of divorce mediation and has mediated hundreds of divorces over 20 years. Mr. Caruthers is also a certified financial planner and brings an entirely new dimension to the divorce process through sophisticated financial analysis and planning. Mr. Caruthers is also an AV Peer Review-Rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Caruthers is a consultant to the mediation practice.

Attorney/mediator J. Christopher Chamblin is a native of Northern Virginia and has practiced law for nine years. Mr. Chamblin is also a certified public accountant and brings a unique perspective to the financial aspects of the divorce process. Mr. Chamblin is a consultant to the mediation practice.
